Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

I love the pictures Beth. Buckshot sure has personality! And my chickens poop on each other too sometimes.
And thanks to you Cynthia for the pics of Isaac. It makes me want to run out and look at the babies again.
But it's raining and a muddy swamp out there and I don't want to look that bad! At least everyone is fed and watered and some are smart enough to go in the coop and stay out of the rain. Some aren't.
I can't decide which I hate most at this time of year, rain & mud or snow and cold?

Beth, you are doing better than I am! I have only been able to discount one. This one, I believe, is a cull. He has funky feathers in the tail, and brown on the beak.

Good Late morning Delaware lovers! I love how this topic has such activity. I am also subscribed to some other breed threads and they are nothing like this one. I love it! Have a great day everyone!

Joletabey, if you can pry Shadow away from her DH, you be my guest.

That was the one obstacle I was still working on a solution for.

My girls do the same thing with the poo...I mean really ladies, have some personal hygiene cares. I keep those Pet Shampoo cloths out there with them so I can do quick clean ups on them. Sheesh

Pet Shampoo cloths? OK!!! Now I feel better.

I doubt I can pry Miss Shadow away from her doting daddy... I'll just have to hope for one like her.

I think Delaware Mind Control has Taceyperkins safely wrapped up, don't you?

GOOD AFTERNOON Delaware peoples!!!

Isaac's brother Algernon had a big comb at that age, that may be Algernon... He's a gem. I am right this very second uploading to photobucket this afternoons pics of my 9-11/12 week olds... and a few of the youngest few.

Most are tanks except those from the hatchery mommas. Still they're bigger than their mommas were in most cases.

And the ODD one is on there too. She's a favorite for pesonality but wow what an odd result. I'll grab a link as soon as it uploads.

Kathy, the one in the center of the last pic is one that will probably end up a cull; you'll know in four weeks or so, I bet. Too solid in the hackles and too dark on the beak. You have better ones in that group, looks like. Dang, he looks like he has good body size, though!

Cher, that one boy other than Ike that is facing left outside in the pen, he is one I gave away. In fact, the same man got both that one and the one with the blue magic marker on his head, my #3 choice. They were both showing signs of being aggressive and I think #3 was learning it from #2, so they had to go before they influenced Ike.
