Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

It could be either honestly....the eggs that Cyn sent me where colored like those two and another shade as well. Phoebe has little spots on her egg if I recall correctly.

I've had pretty good luck with Cut 'n Heal for deterring picking, in the past I've had some batches of Pro. red pullets that we're bad about picking (some groups are just worse than others) and I've had great results with the stuff, you'll need to let it dry pretty good so it's not easily wiped off. It dries kinda sticky and smells really horrible and I just imagine it tastes aweful going by the smell of it. It's got some sorta fish oil that really reeks especially if you get it on your skin, so you might give that a shot. I'd sure hate for something like the picking to break-up such a good thing you've got going there.

So sorry speckledhen for the horrible drama that your chickens are giving you. I have no advice for you, sorry. I do hope that things get better soon for your roo.

Has anyone on this thread gotten Dellies from Will at Whitemore farms? Just wanted to know what they thought of them and where he got his stock?

Well my first Delaware Bantam Hatched today and it is a beautiful BLACK chick! Yes, I said black. So, all I can figure is while Miss Petunia was waiting for Mr. Right (a Delaware Bantam roo to call her own), Mr. Mean (a LF Brown Red Ameraucana Roo) had his way with her. So now I have this very cute Ameraucana looking chick that is half Large Fowl and half Bantam. Should be interesting.

Cyn, sorry to hear about your troubles, I hope things get better between Ike and his ladies.

Happy Monday everybody in "dellie land"!!!

I'mmmmmmm bacccckkkkkkk

Pretty grueling trip, but interviews went very well (I think). I was told that they would get back to me sometime today. They are on Pacific Time so its still early out there. Would definitely be able to work from my home office in Georgia, occasional trip to China and typical "travel" across US to call on customers and set up Distribution.

Its "day 21" here again and of course, a Del was the first born. It is Sasha first baby so that is pretty neat. It is the only one out so far, but there are 15-18 pipped that I can see. All my Del eggs and the rest are BBS rocks again.

Hope everyone is well and THANK YOU for your prayers, your thoughts and your support.

Scott
