It looks great!
You got it all done! What's the next project?
On the vote ..... Man that was hard, there are too many perfect ones!
I voted Queen of BYC. I figure since she is Queen of the Flock now, it would be a promotion to be Queen of BYC !
Scott .... I hear ya! I now have FOUR broodies! I hate to even go out and look tomorrow, as I am sure there will be yet another one! Well, they are all sitting on Delaware eggs, since quite a few people are interested in obtaining chicks. I did slip 6 little Silkie eggs in, too. I know Cyn has been wanting some, and I figured I would just do that for her.
I spent ALL day working outside with my chickens. I cleaned ..... get this ......
13 pens and coops, between yesterday and today! I mean everything from dusting, scrubbing, sanding, spraying, scooping, all new bedding,
and I powdered every single chicken (don't ask how many!). I relocated many of them, and they are not happy about it. I have 2 broodies in the rabbit hutch type coop, one broody still in her own nest in the breeder pen, and one broody stayed in the big coop (which
used to be the layers coop, but now houses the babies from Claudia's and Shelley's Delawares, James' Buckeyes, and Karen's Lavender Ameraucanas). Tomorrow I will move the last 2 broodies to their own quarters, and hope there are no more!
