Thanks, Cyn. I really am amazed at his changes. He is now near 5 months old, and really blooming! I really like him. He is now, officially, Jacob. I think I have some pretty good lookin' girls, too! They are just the sweetest girls, too.

Yes, Miss Holly is really a princess! She really is a sweetie.

He is a good example of needing to wait for a few months before culling a Delaware. I think he's really shaping up!

GardenGranny- she might suprise you- I sit right down in the run, and two or three hens and my Del roo, of all things, crawl up on my legs and lap. Yours looks very sweet.

Update on my Lizzie. She is standing for longer periods and moving around a lot more. It's a very stilted walk and I doubt if she can run yet, but she is still improving. DH thinks she will pine away when she can't be a porch chicken anymore and get carried around in a towel with her own special dish of scrambled egg for breakfast.

Kathy, Jacob is a good looking boy- I do very much like him. If I can get there before Cetawin, I'll take him!!!

I am glad to hear that Lizzie is improving. Poor gal, it has been a long road for her. I am sure she is enjoying being pampered though.

Ya know .... I still have about 20 Del roosters growing out! Just say the word, sister, and you shall have another!

Very nice looking bunch of Del's you have there I wish mine looked that good.
I have to process one of my roosters today he was limping and was not one of my best
so it's baked chicken tomorrow.

I promised pics of my Del boy to get your feedback after the post last week of him guarding his girls from my boxer. He sure is wonderful.

Also, wanted to share this pic of my girl Lizzie, she always perches on my leg when I squat down in the pen, then proceeds to perch on my shoulder till I push her off, what a lover.
