Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

Same here! I should be sleeping in prep for coon hunting tonight but I want to hear that she is okay first. Maybe I shall catnap with the phone by the bed.

Sorry, folks, I had my regular 6 month checkup at the Dr today, which took way longer than it should have, and then errands. Headache is gone, but even the morning after Demerol, it was still lingering. Okay now, though. Will have to check Ike later after the well guy has come and gone--he has to do a fitting and tell us the total of the repair.

One of the eggs under Nora has pipped, Riley's.

Yay Nora! You go girl! Hatch them eggs out picture perfect and do your momma proud!

Thanks for touching bases with us Cyn. You know how we all worry.

Here's hoping you have a two thumbs up report for Isaak as well. Such a pretty boy!

Thank you for checking in...you know you can be a very worrisome child. LOL

You know when that baby hatches Nora will become a witch again...right? She has been nice as a broody but I think mama Nora is gonna be hell on wheels. LOL

Hello! I am new to Delawares, so I am not sure what They are supposed to look like at 6 weeks. How do they look?

They are sweet, curious and attention hounds...so yours look right on target.

Hannah, I saw them on your other thread, and they look promising. I hope you can come up with the line name, sometimes that lets you know what to expect. They have really sweet expressions, so I think you will have nice, friendly fun ones. That second picture looks like a nice full breasted girl- they should look pretty round and chunky, even at that age. She has nice tail black and from what I can see, a good wing set. What do her hackles look like?

Cyn, how is Isaac?

We checked Ike's toe this afternoon. Seems like the infection has been drawn out and maybe gone. The toe just under the nail bed is black and hardened, but not a big area. Looks like the infection is pretty well beat, but we need to keep it bandaged for a few more days till we see what's going to happen with the nail--the outer nail sheath was gone and just the inner part left. It doesn't seem as painful for him, but the poor boy was shaking in my lap. I told him no shot today.

Dellie fanatics, please excuse me if I miss answering questions, etc. This has been the week from you-know-where and I feel like my brain is mush.
