My broody black Rock, Emily, is sitting on 3 Delaware eggs, all from one Del hen since she is the only one of the two laying currently. Hope I get at least one pullet out of those three! Never had a broody with chicks this time of year, but I've lost so many this past year (only one Del, though), I need some up-and-comers. She's on Day 16 tomorrow.

I've got a 2 broody prod. Reds sitting on 10 mutt eggs (They're trying out co parenting

)... They should hatch sometime between now and Wednesday, I'm thinking...

I wish I'd built the brooder better... I can't reach them where they're at

If only I'd had some del eggs to put under her!!! Oh well... next time
