Oh boy! You're in deep trouble now Kathy!!
You broke the cardinal rule! You took pictures of one of your ladies when she's having a bad feather day!!
And worse yet, you PUBLISHED IT!!!!!
Oh dear! Oh dear! Oh dear! Oh dear!! That otherwise sweet little girl is gonna find you in the middle of the night and she's gonna poo right on the top of your head!
She's surely going to exact her revenge, somehow, some day! You just wait and see if she don't!
Outside of that, those are some great pictures. The babes are progressing very nicely! I so wish they had been old enough to send up here when Maggie and the girls made the trip. But let's face it. They were just too little [still are] to face our kind of winters up here. *sigh* Such sweet little faces. I sure hope Bill appreciates them! The lucky dog!
Now you've got my curiosity up about something here. That light Sussex that you show in one of the pictures......Do you have a roo to go with her? I ask because the hackles on Cosette look nearly identical to your LS hen there. Either she's coming in much darker than she would otherwise, on account of Maggie's genetics, or Maggie wasn't as faithful to the Del boys as we first thought!
Hmmmm...I'll have to get a good picture of the two of them side by side so you can see what I mean. Heck! I should be getting good pictures of them regardless! You and Mike should see how your wee girls are coming along! Cosette has been my little cuddle bug for most of the day today. Every time I went out there to visit the flock, Cosette came running and cried and cried and cried to be picked up! She's such a sweetie pie!
And she's really starting to come out of her shell now! [pardon the pun!

Lisette is friendly in her own way, but like I said before, she's definitely the quieter of the two. I think she probably takes after her mama the most!
