Show off your Old English Game Bantams!!

Pink and dry is good.... Just keep an eye on it. :fl
It is a bit concerning, eh?
Dang. Scab is off but this chick is going mushy on me.

Anyone here have experience using levofloxacin for these kinds of infections with their bantams? It's all I have on tap right now, having a hard time finding a smaller bottle of tylan here in the city.

Uh oh, sorry.

Can you post a pic?

Looks wet? I'd try some vitamins like Nutridrench or even sav a chick. Keep it warm and dry.
Started damp on its own when the umbilical scab began to come off, I cleaned the area and treated with neosporin, sorry for the greasy feathers. Think a shallow epsom salt soak might help the swelling? Soft belly felt a bit firmer and more concentrated into a lump this morning. Will add vitamins to the mix, gave a nibble of scrambled egg yesterday. Chick eats and drink with vigor still.

Thanks for the off topic help, y'all are the most experienced thread I frequent. :hugs
