Hi! I'm new to peafowl. Just got my first pair this week from KsKingBee. I've named them Pride (cock) and Prejudice (hen). Here's a pic of them. Pride is IB split to white or pied and Prejudice is IB. I'm super excited about having peafowl.
My pics aren't anything extra but I thought I'd share them anyway.

I have a question when will my peas start laying (there 1 year and 3 months ) i heard they wont until there 2 some say 3 some say up to 6 years!! Im so confused but could someone on here solve my problem?

I haven't been raising them as long as others here, but all of my hens have started laying when they were two.

I have had 1 year olds lay for the last 3 years, they never layed very many and were always infertile cause they were a late hatch and by time they turned a year and my male had already dropped his train, well last year i kept peas to make trios to sell this year and i had a couple year olds lay and was able to hatch out 2 eggs from a 1 year old girl cause my males still had their trains.
