Chirpie is coming 2 now, so far no aggression at all. Still loves a good head rubbing from Mom.

It doesn't matter what we do, we always hatch way more males than females and the females are in much greater demand in our area. I have pretty much always had more males than hens, so yeah we have a deficiency. If you can believe it, I need a plain old IB hen or 2, my IB girl is looking really rough these days. She is healthy, but I am guessing she is over 20 years old now. Right now I have 20 males and (thanks to BlueCreek) 21 hens, first time ever.

This has been a good year for hatching females for me, I will be selling trios of 2014 hatch. Matter of fact I have four mature trios, all IB, three year old or better for sale now. We should talk....
