I have one living by the reservoir in front of my property seems to prefer fish rather than my birds has not given me any problems in the last 2 years he has hung out, the crows give him/her a hard time though.

Yuck, is that a bald eagle???
I think the ones in Alaska eat lots of fish, that may be their primary diet. Is yours sticking around year round? Here where I live, they are migratory, I think.
Edited to add: they show up in a couple of the wildlife refuges here in the winter time

we see it off and on , there is a breeding pair that nest about 3 to 4 mile as the crow flys from my place ,we live in Orangefield ,they have been there for a very long time they were part of a population plan from what i read , this is one of their offspring i am sure ,it is immature and has not gotten all it's white feathers yetI think the ones in Alaska eat lots of fish, that may be their primary diet. We only have one around that I've seen. We have lots of owls: Great Horn, Barn, and the most annoying owl the Screech Owl. Red Tail Hawks are on the other side of our property.
