Show off your Peas!

Did I ever show off the beautiful Opal that I inherited?
He and his hen are with a friend of mine and I was supposed to get eggs or chicks back from the pair this year but haven't been able to pin down about the eggs or laying. I figured I got screwed out of this color and may never see the birds again. But isn't he gorgeous?

A w/e Opal at that!!! WestKnoll,,I'd take him in a minute here. I'm really getting some great looking Opals this year since we added a regular Opal and an Opal pied in with my Opal b/s male. One of the chicks has all white flights and I hope it's a male. I have w/e in Charcoal,Taupe,IB,and Cameo and as the males gets older and the eyes become large and more distinct they are truly awesome in their own right.

Wow that is gorgeous! Makes we want to get an opal spalding peacock for my opal spalding hen. Is he opal white eye and his hen opal blackshoulder?

Quote: I did not know he was a WE until he grew his train in. I kick myself a thousand times for letting him go to my friends house because now she is going through a divorce and I am not sure if I will actually get this lovely bird and his hen back or not. I am pretty sure his mate is a BS as well, she is very light.
I have faith that nothing will happen to them but they live about 2 hours from me and I do not get to visit. I have begged to get them back but am assured they are fine where they are at. These are the only 2 photos I have seen of him since last fall.

Can you bend over so I can kick you too? CALL YOUR FRIEND NOW AND ASK ABOUT THE BIRD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :barnie DO NOT ASSUME that these birds will be ok with this divorce. When people go through divorces, they don't care about the pets. They are mad at the other spouse and just want out of the marriage or whatever. Some even make it their business to hurt the other if a pet is involved by doing nasty things. I would hate for you to talk to your friend years from now and they said that they threw these beautiful birds out to pasture or just let them lose because nobody wanted them and that you could have had the birds but they didn't think that you would want them back or they didn't think to call you. That would hurt your heart. FOLLOW your first mind and CALL THEM. A phone call will not hurt but a future heart break knowing that you could have prevented a misfortune will and had the birds returned back to you will. :/ Do you want to feel that guilt the rest of your life? Have I give you enough of a guilt trip that you will call????????????????? Please keep us posted after you make that phone call. ;)
