Owen's an Opal Silver Pied. Only thing better would be Opal Black Shoulder Silver Pied!Zazouse your pictures just made my day. I have been thinking about my hen and how when she was little she, her sister, and their two turkey friends were little I would raise my hand and they would fly to me... I love that picture with all of those white birds.
Mmmaddie13 his train is gorgeous! What color silver pied is he? I am glad the wood duck is doing good. My ducks immediately fly to the windows when I come near the door trying to get back out into the aviary. Find a hen yet? I still have that extra hen that I offered before. I moved some more peafowl into the duck aviary for the winter, and yikes! The peafowl who have been in there hate the new peafowl, and one of the new hens finds it fun to scare away the pheasants and ducks as they eat out of my hand, and she just stands by me refusing to actually eat out of my hand... Silly birds.
We have lots of snow today, its lake effect snow. Got my white peacock that free ranges penned for the winter. destinduck, I was going to get pictures today to show the little ducks on the pond covered in snow!
But he's totally awesome, can't wait to see him this summer! I should have some eggs too (mixed flock, I don't have a breeder pen) that I might consider selling... Hmmm.
I'm not really sure when or if I should even get a hen, I did find someone on here who was willing to ship a single hen to me, but like I said the floods happened right around the time I found that seller, not sure if they still have any, I haven't checked.
