Zaz, here is a pix I just took of him. The gunias gave him a hair cot on top!

Some of my regular IB's still have some green in their neck. your boy has lots of color changes to make before he gets his grown up black shouldered colors.
How do them guineas peck his crest when he is so much taller than them? never seen that here so i wounder how that is done.

When I put them (the guineas) in the evening heaven help anything that gets between them and the feeder including the peafowls head. The peahens that have learned better still have their crests the others don't! I have one big guinea that no one get any feed until he gets through! For a guinea he is hugh.

If you are referring to the one that is fanning he will be 3 in August.

Thanks my almost two year old has such a little train I was hoping this is what his will look like next year!

It will be big next breeding season, last year they had 1 to 2 dinky eye feather and 1 big peacock eye feather sticking out in left field, they look so funny, then i got some with 30 eye feathers and won't be 2 until July of this year, they develop at different rates but all have the same result by the age of 3 or 4 .

these are all 18 months old except the one in the upper right he is one that you asked about.

This is what their train looked like when it started last season that was the only eye feathers they had that looked like it came from an adult. this year they are so caught up in trying to impress each other or do the dance they ain't got a hen one and i have a dozen here for them.. They crazey.

This year doing the dance and still got no hens.

P-Dawg will be three in October and his train looks like a 2 year olds. Poor turkey rapist, lol.
