Show off your Peas!

Patch got some outside time today & apparently enjoyed it :)

I'm so excited for this Spring to come! I found a place in Idaho that is a peafowl hatchery! They have been a hatchery for 35 years though I was never able to find a website just an ad on Craigslist finally. She listed a lot of peafowl and she said she even has more than the ones she listed. Also her prices are reasonable or at least the ones she told me! Once I get more pens built then I'm getting more peachicks.

Hey do you guys think blue may have some Spaulding blood in him? I was thinking maybe because his crown feathers are growing about like a Spaulding's grows.
How old is this pretty baby?

I have had many babies with a tight upright crest , they were/are not spalding they just are so tight in that little space with new ones coming in behind they get tight sometimes they all grew a correct crest for a blue.
The only time i have ever seen a green blood looking crest on a spalding is when they are like first generation and mabe second, Dillansmom has a gorgeous high percentage spalding take a look at how the feathers at the top of the crest, they are elong gated rather than fanned out.
