Show off your Peas!

Can only imagine! Beer. Used to live in Nebraska and it ran about 8 degrees colder than here, but I didn't worry as much as the peas were real smart bout hanging in our big ol pole barn. Now it's the chicken coop or outside. :(

People in the know, if I breed my BS hens to my white cock, what colors will I get. I really love pied and lost them all. :(. I had one offspring but sold him before I looked at pics and realized it.

We still got clouds and rain except we are getting clear skys at night go figure.
I need some UV's i am starting to get depressed with all the mess but hey all the feathers are washed into the ground now .
Hows Patch and his ladys doing?

Patch & his harem seem happy, perching on top of everything, even considering all the mud & water here. I treat them everyday with something. Even got them down off some of Joe's high pens for treats.

Patch is very photogenic, they all are for that matter. Thanks, Garden, that truck is a special member of the family & it just worked out that he happened to get up on it & that he goes so well with it lol.

It depends on whether your white male is out of barred wing parents or black shouldered parents. If his parents barred wings you will get India Blue chicks with barred wings split to BS and split to white. Visually they will probably look a lot like Patch.

If his parents were black shouldered you will get black shouldered chicks split to white. They will have some white wing feathers and possibly a small white patch under their chin, visually males will look like my "Poppie"

What birds did you breed that resulted in the pied offspring?

I was laboring under the assumption that it was probably a split white as opposed to a pied. Many people, without a lot of exp. with genetics, see a couple white feathers and assume it means the bird is pied.

Treats are the bomb they will go any where you want for cheese, bananas and peanuts in the shell .
Remember they will need worming at the end of the month
