well then I shall treat them asap...good time to spend some time out there and look into their poo...that's where im going to start....This Thursday im finishing worming the three new ib peas so I will do them that day...not taking chances....thanks for the info...you think it would be better to do at dark when they are roosting and more calm so I don't stress them to much
That's great, congrats on the bonding!! The boy (Cobalt?) doesn't seem to be afraid of you much at all! And what pretty peas they are, too, love those crownsFinally Colbolt and Sage have began to eat out of my hand and I finally got it on video.

Just remember they can turn into dirty beggars if they learn you have treats![]()

It's a good feeling, yes? Love it when the birds get excited to see me XDThat's already Colbolt. When I open the door he's pacing wanting something, but he would wait for me to drop it but now he does what that little boy does. The hen gets curious but she still watches me carefully.
When I raised up three Spalding whites I ended up with two peahens and one peacock. I sold the friendliest of the two Spalding white sisters. She was very friendly. She would run up to me and grab treats from my hand enthusiastically. Her sister, Shyanne, was always shy hence the name. She didn't like to get near me. Once I sold her sister, she quickly took her sister's place in being very friendly and outgoing. I always found that interesting.
What I will never understand is Alto, who I got as a yearling peacock, let me and Aaron pet him one day when he was up on a perch. We had just fed him his favorite treat - tomato - and he lowered his head and let us pet him just like Peep would do. We double checked that it was in fact Alto, and it was! He has never let us do that again the darn peacock. He enjoyed being pet too so I don't see what the problem is.
I love it when the other peas watch me pet Peep because I hope that someday they will decide to let me pet them, but so far it isn't working!
That's the way my BS hen is. She is imprinted on me and it rubs off to a certain extent on the other opens!
