My wonderful husband drove a few hours away with me yesterday to take me to a breeder. We brought home a 3 week old black shoulder mixed with a white, and a one week old ib. They are cuddled in my lap sleeping right now.
I think she did get attacked. Since i wasn't home Saturday until very late my husband had taken care of the body so i didn't get to see it. But i asked my daughter where she had found it and what she liked like. She said there wasn't any bones in the head, just the bottom jaw left and she was near the fence. So I'm thinking something got her.

On the bright side here are my new babies, sleeping in my lap.

Spent the weekend in TN for a Bachelorette party and came home to my poor little Alli..."her" head is 3 x's bigger than before I left Friday morning! She's now at the vets awaiting surgery. I don't know if she'll survive the anisthetic but something has to be done!
This is before we left this morning.

I'm still waiting on a call. They weren't sure if they would get to her today or tomorrow.

Surgery went well, doc said it was a very fast growing tumor. Recovery didn't end well. I have shed my tears but did what needed done. It was growing so fast that the skin was dying on the top of her head. Something like that. They tried fluids etc but just too little.

She was so sweet and will be dearly missed.
