He is a beauty, you should be around a whole flock taking off all at once it is like getting blasted with the air of fans all around, it is amazing the power you feel in the turblane they cause in the air.

I bet that is so cool. I would probably faint due to the over excitement.

Mr. Tubbs having a pow wow with the guinea keets and the wee pea Sidney, there is a strange pea in the pen and they are not happy.

Camme followed me in the baby pen when i left the gate open, the babys pea gave her a hard time for being there.

Here's my new boy! His name's Owen, he is an Opal Silver Pied. I love him already! He was so good on the way home, didn't make a mess and didn't complain one bit. I hope you like him.

He is very pretty, do the colored parts have an iridescence to them?

Yes it's a dark greenish color. I'll get better pictures sometime. I don't want to stress him out being a paparazzo. He's so cute out there just looking around. I think he'll like it here.

He looks like a sweet guy - he must be very mellow.
And he does look like he's pleased with his new home already.
Has he met or seen the rest of the gang yet?

Thank you! I'm very happy with him, so far he's just a doll.

Nope, not yet, the little guys are in the coop, I'll try to put him in tonight with them. Think he'll have a problem with the heat lamps? Should I turn them off for the night?

Well he certainly has a beautiful view of the mountains.. and his pen is very nice, very open feel to it.
What color will you be pairing him up with?

Yeah he's a happy boy.
I don't currently have any peas that will be of breeding age next spring, so I'll either have to find some local or maybe I'll have to figure out a way to get to Mt. Hope next year! That'd be so much fun. I'm just not so sure about the drive!
