Maybe by tonight, could be tomorrow. Our friend in town just got power last night, so the power company is inching this day. Town is only population a hair over 200 ppl. Lol

Thank you. I tell him every day I think he's Purdy. He said I need new glasses. He's the spitting image of his mother's brother. My babies are beautiful... But I might be a little partial. Lol Little DW in the picture is a bit dirty bc she was building sand castles.

basically. The only thing we really miss is running water. We're outside people anyways. Gotta crank the generator when everyone wakes up so we can have coffee!!

We made a Thunder Cake tonight to go with the show TS Sergio was giving us. Its just an old fashioned spice cake that we used to always make with the littles whenever we had a thunder/lightening storm. It started as an excuse to keep them distracted, but over the years has become sort of a tradition. We don't get thunder or lightening too often but when we do, we all yell "THUNDER CAKE!!!" & run for the kitchen.

That's a fun tradition!
