We made a Thunder Cake tonight to go with the show TS Sergio was giving us. Its just an old fashioned spice cake that we used to always make with the littles whenever we had a thunder/lightening storm. It started as an excuse to keep them distracted, but over the years has become sort of a tradition. We don't get thunder or lightening too often but when we do, we all yell "THUNDER CAKE!!!" & run for the kitchen.

Just perfect way to stop fear.. my folks where big on that

My 3 yo .... He can go before bed and still piss a gallon in the bed .... I don't know where he holds it. Lol

She’s clean, but I can’t deal with the laundry yet. I’m drinking my coffee while cartoons are blaring, and the smell of urine (smells like cat pee) permeates the air.

Guess I am the one here that doesn't always wake up in time but I can clean me up still
cat boxes have their own room I clean them twice a day

Todays Cup Fashion Show entry,,,,,,,,,,,

Breakfast was an over easy egg sandie filled with Boneless Buffalo Wings.. The bread is Beefsteak Pumpernickel. It is a softer textured bread compared to some of the (local) Bakery Versions. Those are solid as a brick. When swung around in a bag, can be used as a defensive weapon in a grocery parking lot...

Lunch was a Kwik Bowl of Caveman Penicillin ... Just cant get tired of this soup all my years

If it was not for those feathered cuties, ???? who knows what forum would spark my interests???

Ohhhh! I love pumpernickel! I almost never get to eat it... It reminds me of Christmas for some weird reason. Speaking of Christmas, the Thunder Cake seems to be an excellent next day breakfast cake. I'm considering making it for Christmas brunch this year. We always have company & that would be an easy, make ahead of time addition.

So our power was restored!!! Yay! My husband befriended the foreman of the crew and invited him back to come hunting. Foreman then brought a box full of pizza and firehouse subs lunch boxes. Like 10 boxes with a sammich, cookies, chips, and a juice.... Guess who two thumbs and is taking the night off.. ME!!!!

Great crew boss there you deserve it night off can be good for the what ails us .. the son will grill steaks tonight he has learned how to do them just right .. top it off put 7 eggs under two Silky that went broody all green eggs my older girls
