My new dog, who has been with us for only a few days, is now in the animal hospital with parvo virus, she went in yesterday looking terrible, but now she is stabilized,thank god, it looks like she will survive, but I just needed to talk about it.

Any updates?

Passed a few pecan farms on the way to the aquarium. It's very humbling to see full grown trees laid over like dominos. There is a farm about an hour away that is the only large scale zero waste farm this side of the Mississippi(whiteoak pastures) They lost an incredible amount of livestock on top of building damage.

They are. I could go all day talking about climate change and what we say humans should do or stop doing.

I try not to post about it because of it being a hot topic but there is a lot that needs to be done.

Grew up Barefooted ...... Feet get too cold now

My husband thinks I'm nuts. It has to be 45 or below for me put on shoes. Summer here does require flip flops though.

Oh yea, I get down there on the floor with dogs for lunch and we grub!
Then we have a Milkbone for dessert.
