No, no. I’m not feeling judged. I just don’t know what to feel yet about the dog.
I’m going to explain my thoughts this way. I believe he’s finally housebroken. Or I am. He goes to the door to be let out, and hasn’t had an accident in a while. Is he really broken? I don’t know. I just know I don’t have to keep him in my sight when he’s inside.
If I let him loose, he hasn’t chased a bird since last winter. This was a true surprise.
Saying all that, I just don’t know how to train him/what I need to do since it is not a habit.

What has worked for us is a shock collar and a firm NO. As the dog would approach the flock I would say no and watch. If they kept up the approach they'd get a shock at the same time I said no the second time. If we had the same issue again in that training session the shock was on the first no from that point until we were done training.

We have a doggie door so sometimes I peek out the window and watch and reinforce with the littlest one but there has been much improvement. Especially now that she knows I can reach out and touch her even when I'm not right there in the yard.

Very bland, how disappointing. The sauce is good though.
