The DOG is fine since yesterday afternoon. He has a stronger chain he hopefully can’t break, and the flock should be safe again.

He usually ignores the flock, but he’s discovered that catching them is fun. They aren’t afraid of him, so didn’t really try to escape.

I want to know how a 35 pound dog breaks a chain with 110# strength.

A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link....applied to a chain instead of a group of people, that is still true!
