The DOG is fine since yesterday afternoon. He has a stronger chain he hopefully can’t break, and the flock should be safe again.

Guess who broke his new chain? I can’t find the clip, so I have to assume the guy that picked the clips out didn’t realize, or forgot what we were doing, that they couldn’t handle the job.
The first chain, 110# strength, broke four times. It wasn’t a fluke, he’s Hercules! This one is 150#. I couldn’t go to 200 because it was considerably heavier. This is a dog’s neck!

the chain strength is for lifting a stationary object. When the dog runs and reaches the end of the chain, the amount of force is much higher that the weight of the Dog
