That squash sure caught my eye...love that stuff (any kind of squash)! Nice looking bread IM.

We're making turkey breast, mashed potatoes & gravy, oyster dressing, vegetable (either broccoli or carrots) and sweet potato pie.

I'm hoping to get most of it all prepped today and just do the turkey and heating things up tomorrow.
Sweet potato pie :drooli could eat just that and be happy! I was going to make that, but I'm technically the only one besides the dogs who eats it.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who makes my dogs meals!

Tomorrow my dogs will be getting turkey and lots of veggies/fruit.

Nope, I make them dinner each night, a simplified version of whatever we're having for meat and veg. If they can't have what we're eating, pizza for example, they get chicken gizzards and organs or cooked ground meat.

Do they not eat dog food?

The purpose of my meat chickens was to give some to the dogs as well.

Yes they do, a good quality kibble from a company that has never had a recall of their products. I'm worried about meeting their nutritional needs so they get one cooked meal a day.

Our dogs get the hearts, livers, gizzards from our birds, plus whatever meals we cook. Since I often brine and roast the birds, a current project of mine, I'll usually do one for them separately without brining and part it out for their meals after cooking.

We use kibble in the morning too. We use the 4health brand. I can't wait until processing day comes for the chickens. I think I need another chest freezer. We have 29 chicks, but I'm sure I'm keeping some.
