SHOW OFF YOUR YUM! Food Photography Thread

Oh no! Our Walmart has feed and I hate when they're out because I have to go to TSC. Usually they don't stock their shelves too good or they don't keep up with demand too well. They're always out of both that we used to use so I gave up and started buying feed at Walmart.

It's sort of the opposite situation here with our TSC and Walmart. If I had to rely on our Walmart for feed, my birds would have starved. It's a good Walmart day if I can get everything on our people food list.

Like my ugly Christmas sweater... I bought it because I love my puggle

Cute! Both the sweater and the pug :D

I'm making ugly sweater sugar cookies for Christmas this year. Since I stink at decorating, figure I'll be a natural.
:lau when I got my first job I worked in a bakery and decorated cakes, but I haven't done it in forever. So I probably could perfect the ugly part of ugly sweater cookies

Every year I've tried to do a neat job with icing. And every year they are embarrassingly bad. I saw ugly sweater cookies on one of the mini contests and it was love at first sight. At last, I've found my niche! :gig

I LOVE pugs. Mine isn't pure, but I do want a black pug or a black pug mix. I'm scared to get a purebred pug because everyone I've ever known has had to put their pug in surgery for rhinoplasty.

I've always had luck with mixed breeds. My dad only get purebred dogs, but I love mixes.

I've always heard mixes are usually healthier.

I've heard the same thing and I think it's because when you do purebreds they are pretty much all related in some sort of way so defects happen. Just like chickens and other animals.

X 2 and I'm in a major metropolitan area

Yes, the mixes often don't have the problems that crop up in "purebreds." I think that word is an oxymoron for chickens and dogs. Purebreds started off a mix to get a certain look, but now people snub their noses at the mutts and barnyard mixes. SMH.

Some of my prettiest birds are barnyard mixes!

Someone commented that they didn't want barnyard mixes and I always wondered why... They're the best in my opinion. look at all those chickens that lay those colorful eggs, most of them are mixed breeds but people think they're pure :idunno

My dogs are so unique and that's what I like about them. My beagle is just a beagle, but my other dogs are not your average purebred.

I live in the country in the Walmart here just opened maybe 4 or 5 years ago. The store manager pays close attention to what is popular in this area and you can tell when you walk in his store.

There's so much chicken feed, mealworms, soldier worms, horse feed, pig feed, and goat feed.
