Hey, @cavemanrich I remember a chili meat discussion, but do you ever make it with pulled pork? I can’t remember if pork was mentioned.
You know my weeeeeakness is CHILI. I can eat any, and all chili.:drool :drool:drool
Only make the home-made using ground beef.:old Whenever making pork,, it usually ends up as a STEW,,, with GRRRRRAVI,:thumbsup and that goes over a GRAIN PRODUCT,(non-liquid) like buckwheat, rice, quinoa, or non grain potato.
Usually we don't make pulled meats here at the cave. Prefer ground up.
Here is one reason why we grind instead of pull.

Now I'm CRAVING CHILI,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :hit:hit:hit:th
Only option short-range,,,, is some Hormel:idunno (canned)
Coming weekend will be another B-Day Fiesta:old,,, Fun, but no chili.:caf
Then Holidays, so Christmas food,,, and no chili.
Not sure when DD#1 will come over and hang out for the day. Together we make the FINEST CHILI FROM SCRATCH. She knows all the proper proportions of seasoning. Also thought me to Rinse the beans before adding to the meat at final stage of simmering. Always use at least 3 different kind of beans. Pinto, Kidney, and Black Beans. Before,, I used to add the beans with the juice in can. Now its RINSED. It is a preferred way now. That also washes off added salt that may be in excess of desired amount.:thumbsup

Little Italy for lunch. (In San Diego) Chose this restaurant because they offered paninis and pasta y fagioli soup. Forgot to take a picture before I ate. This what I’m leaving behind. It was fabulous Caprese Panini yum! They considered tha panin an appetizer. I could only eat half of it! Now just wandering around town for a couple hours to wear it off . :wee DH will be off work in a couple hours and we’ll go back down to see the harbor again. I do miss the ocean.
