You guys I swear this chicken screams just like that one I cannot stop laughing... I love him

I'm getting rid of Sid tonight. He is not being very kind and I don't like him. I think with him gone the flock will be better without him! I'm going to put HeiHei in the coop tonight when we take out Sid.

Keep us posted on how the transition goes. Sounds like you found a fun guy for your flock.

I finally decided to put my cooking interest and recipes online; using my photography skills from 1 semester lived photography school ages ago...

Quite excited. I mainly do Old hisotrical European dishes, leftovers, frugal, no-waste and a lot of soups, stews, "unusual"meets and veggies, and offcourse eggs..I'm drowning in duck eggs :'(

The translation to English and non-metric system is quite a challenge! :O

Next weeks on the list is; Cod head in chinese master sauce, radish-leaf soup, pigtail-soup, naturally coloured deviled eggs, fried chickenfeet, raw herringsoup, and how to eat 4 days with 2 from 1 whole chicken! Can't wait!

I'm pretty pleased with the results thusfar. Of my first 2 dishes. (well; bacon-egg muffins don't really coun't.. but decided to just put them out there anyway; just eveything I make, even if it as unoriginal as ever).

So yesterday we had lunch with potato peel & dill soup (ww2 recipe from grandma) and duckegg and bacon muffins. Could have used a sidedish of some greens..

My goodness that looks delicious! Welcome to the thread :DI look forward to seeing what else you share with us.

I am replacing my head rooster of 4 1/2 years this week. He would accept a baby cockerel, but I think the new one is four months. The old one will be put in with my tiny birds (quail and young chicks) for now. I have no reason to kill him, but must. One chick is a cockerel, and I will do it when the chick is big enough to be processed.
