Lemon pepper chicken with vegan southern green beans & potatoes and corn on the cob.

I had just the veggies. They had a very nice smoky flavor.

Christmas Eve Dinner, no meat, but fish is accepted.
Smashed tatoes with butter and sour-cream. I use ice-cream scoop to form into balls

DD#1 made these, Don't know what it is called. Blintz type of thingie filled with mushrooms inside, and again fried up with some breadcrumbs in butter.

Baked breaded cod..........

Pierogis. had 3 kinds. Sauerkraut & mushroom, Cheese & potato, Blueberry.

Roughage

Tilapia, seasoned and baked with orange, and lemon slices on top.

Beet soup with mini mushroom dumplings

Fruit roughage

Desserts DD#3 made these cupcakes. Topping is homemade marshmallow frosting.

DW made this Gingerbread,,,,,,, layered with plum, and another with apricot (not shown), and topped with CHOCOLATE

I will post Christmas Day Dinner tomorrow. Tribe gathers for a second feast, and that is when we exchange gifts.

Great wonderful photos Cavey like the idea of scooping potato with an Ice cream scoop think I will steal that one bought some gortons fish filets have not eaten fish since I left Juneau in 91

Looks good. I need to find a way to make perogies. I think they'd be awesome with sweet potatoes inside. The ones at the store I can't eat so maybe some day I'll figure out a way to do them myself.

The dough is similar to pasta dough. The filling can be anything you desire. My fathers favorite filling was blueberries. My #1 and #2 choices are Potato&cheese, and Sauerkraut&mushroom. We stocked up on our purchase of pierogies when we went to store. Also have Spinach, Meat, and Sweet cheese.
Sweet potato filling sounds yummy. Squash and pumpkin filling are some other possible options.
If you would like,,,, I can look up a recipe for the dough. It is somewhat basic. Flour, eggs, water, and some like to add some potato flour as well. The potato flour makes the dough softer.
My DS likes to add seasoning spice to pizza dough when he bakes. There is no reason to not experiment with added seasoning to the pasta dough.
