When I read thru posts here, I get ideas as to what different to make. I usually leave with an enhanced appetite after reading.
I, and there may be others, actually gain small amounts of weight after viewing. Is it possible that what is added into my thinking brain cells actually shows up on the weight scale???.![]()
It’s processed cheese. No refrigeration needed.
I am making the bagels now. The process has not been as easy as it should have been, but that is due to a multitude of things. I read several recipes before making it. I began with one recipe, but ended up ending with another. Same ingredients, different process.
Duckling woke up from her nap, and apparently used her potty upstairs. A few things had to be dealt with there.
Said child wanted... EVERYTHING! She kept up the chatter while I was trying to do everything for us.
The humidity is at 94% today. This led to sticky dough after it rose. Thus the flour you see.
Duckling helped with pictures.
Things may not be going perfectly, but it’s baking. It doesn’t have to look good as long as it tastes good. Baking with a LO is a bonus.

Last time I had cheese in a Can it was in a ration pack! We called it 'cheese possessed'! It tasted sort of ok and had the consistency of rubberised grit! It went well on 'biscuit brown'! Which you needed a hammer to break!
Ran to the cabinet to get mine out... Turns out only crackers left. Need to add to shopping list.....
Hope you don't mind me using pix to enhance my imagination of cheese.
