Yesterday my neighbor brought over a plate of fruit I have never eaten or even heard of. Tasted Good. Then I jumped on line to find out more about it.
Yaca in Spanish, and Jack Fruit in English.
These are not my pix, because we wolfed the contents quite quickly.

I saw one of those in the grocery store last weekend but haven't tried one yet. Is their taste similar to anything you could compare it to?
