4:24 am.... geeeeze Louise.. Who in their right mind is up still in their barn posting crazy crap on byc? I get up around 6 am everyday. That was posted awhile being up for almost 24hrs straight. I slept in till 9 today.
I'm quoting my posts because I remember posting them but the content is a foggy memory.
They're coming to take me away haha- they're coming to take me away ho ho...

Good grief Connie, are you still up or up again?

I don't think you're whiney, I would be upset if I was dealing with all of that. Water makes things tough, been there and I totally get it. Many moons before I had children I lived on a farm and had to deal with nonstop rain for two weeks straight. I don't think it stopped even once. Water didn't recede before it rained for another week straight. Everything was a huge mess and pretty much the whole flock of chickens, 40 or so, were culled down to what would could be kept in the coop and run. Lambs and the cow too.

As for the autistic grandchild, more power to you Grammy! We have one that's borderline and can be a huge challenge, for that you need a hug

We are contemplating selling off ALL the swine. Pigs should be kept on concrete if this situation is to be avoided. One of our swine paddocks is a lake. About 200ft long and 75ft wide. 3 ft deep in the center. Poor decision to build a pen there, but for 8 years, it has never flooded like that before.
It's sprinkling right now. Overcast. The water is not evaporating and the ground can't absorb it fast enough.
The chickens are thriving.. but are on egg strike. the ducks are in heaven.. they are like kids in a candy store. The goats are having issues and the swine live in quicksand.



Alright.. done with exploiting my problems. Focusing on the positive.
Time to button my lips.

You have had alot after late night/early mornings. I start work at 0630 and I have been exchanging messages till about 9ish bst! Look after yourself and you need sleep too!
