Moral to this story,,,,,,,, eventually refrigerators will become obsolete.

why does this not surprise me twinkies have a unlimited shelf life

Penny, you may be correcting me, I was under the assumption that Twinkies did have a shelf life,, 25 years... well,, maybe we are close.:old

Enchiladas
I just found this over on S.S. I might give it a whirl.

Slow Cooker Chicken Enchilada Soup


Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 medium yellow onion, diced
1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 jalapeno, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 15-oz. can diced tomatoes
2 cups chicken stock
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp cumin
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
1 avocado, pitted and sliced

Instructions

Add the chicken to the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the onion, bell pepper, jalapeno, and garlic on top of the chicken. Pour the diced tomatoes and chicken stock over the top. Sprinkle with chili powder, cumin, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours. Use a fork to shred the chicken before serving. Garnish with cilantro and avocado.
 
This was dinner last night ravioli with 2 cheeses and pesto with new York steak marinated in olive oil and spices then grilled

I saw this over at the potluck thread.. looks really delicious.. You did an awesome dinner.
I would have placed it but you were at already in all 3 cats..
I have never made ravioli from scratch before. On my bucket list.. yum!!

first time we made then from the ravioli maker I bought off amazon not to tough to make sure came out tasty we did mozzarella and cheddar with a dab of pesto boiled till they floated then drained them had a little Parmesan on top ... pretty simple the steak was the focus... our garlic bread was the bread recipe of Ron's that I cut to make rolls and add garlic butter
