SHOW OFF YOUR YUM! Food Photography Thread

Has anyone noticed that the price of fast food has not increased in the last 20 years, but may have decreased in price...wonder what you're really eating?
I found some Mc Donald's french fries in a Happy Meal Box my grandson has had for a little bit. The box was stuffed with toys. I don't know when the box/meal was purchased, but judging by the amount of little toys in it, must have been from not so recent past. As I played with him and he was show & telling about all he favorite things in the handled box, their was an old bag of french fries in the very bottom. Days old. Not rotting and looked like they were just purchased.:sick
When we make homemade fries and can't finish them all, they look terrible the next day. Mc Donald's fries are embalmed and will stay looking the same until the end of time.:plbb

Also, I saw something on some show or whatever it was. When a burger joint sells a cheese burger @ 99 cents, it is being sold almost at cost. They make their money back on beverages. They buy concentrated syrups that cost them like pennies to pour you a Coke/Pepsi/Sprite etc & charge you $1.69 per med drink, for something they paid 3 cents for. They really sock it to you for the large drink.

Well, today is the first time this thread hasn't made me hungry.

Oh yes, they are everywhere here with $5 pizza commercials all the time. They might have finally bumped it to $6 recently. Their pizza sauce gives me heartburn so I don't eat it, but I LOVE the bread!
If you go to a franchise owned rather than a corporate store, you may make a personalized request. Just ask them to skip the sauce and make whatever you want. A franchise owner may agree to it.:idunno
I have about 4 Pizza Pizza establishments within 3 miles radius. I choose the Franchise one because they will bake my Pizza Extra Crispy. (as per my request)
I like the Deep Dish, and have noticed that I do prefer the dough done a tad more than the time it takes to bake a thin crust .

Pepsi used to own a few of the fast food places, Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut, a few others, I think they sold that portion of their business off.
