FLASH BACK.
Sitting on Pre-DH's car.
Old School Muscle.. 1970 Nova-cherry. Had 307 logos on the fenders but a bored out 350 and a Holley double pumper under the hood. Untouchable on the 1/4 mile where we all hung out.. 1982 was a great year.. Met my husband, and survived it!:gigGas was 69 cents a gallon probably.

But a different kind of cold. Hard to explain. It's like a dry cold up there. Here it is a wet cold.:confused:

They had a blast. Only snowed the last day we were there. Perfect timing. Weird though. No rain before the temp drops there. Here we flood rain and turn iced. There you really don't feel the cold as much without the wetness.

Having lived in high humidity places (KS and FL) and now in a very dry climate (WY), I get what you're saying perfectly!
