In a 16X16 pen with the sow of course. Covered, outside-adjacent to the swine population. Basically a birthing pen. The sow has access to the pen prior to labor. When she starts build her nest, she gets locked inside with her litter until they are weened. The pen has human access for duties. We have 3 of these birthing pens.

The mower drive axle is toast. Parts w/o labor $225. 300 w/employee discount for new trans axle.. or buy new mower. We have been hard laboring this one for a decade. Nothing lasts forever. Nor does money

very costly but so true in one hand out the other,my opinion I'd get new most come with warranties I go by the old adage fix one thing something else goes vicious cycle but just a thought

We purchase flour in bulk. A local restaurant food distributor sells to the public distressed packaged food items. I bought a 50# bag of pizza flour. It still needs the yeast added but I believe it is a special blend of seasoned flour. I have a pic deep in my phone but I'm getting ready to roll the tortillas.. First real cooking with my bird's eggs. I made quiche, using 6 muscovy duck and 14 guinea eggs. Used tarragon, sage, and garlic from my garden. Stewed tomatoes from my last year's garden. A ton of cheese, some milk and a full stick of butter.

Turned out amazingly delicious. I've never made quiche before.

Looks good. Can't wait for my muscovies to start laying eggs!
