Making some bean soup... Its still cooking. Will take a pix when on plate...

“Awwwww bean soup!” is what my mother said when she was mad.

We don't catch our own fish here. The ones we got with grandchildren were obviously released... We do buy frozen filet's (tilapia, and flounder mostly) I'm going to find and buy some of that breading, and try it... ... I have an open mind as well and will try it on other foods as well. We do make breaded chicken cutlets, as well as other cutlets. Like to break ALL the rules here...
We (DW and I, but mostly DW) make our own bread crumbs occasionally. Will also add quantities of chips like Doritos, and other flavors into the mix. Never a recipe, but just what is available at the time. Makes some unique flavors...

Have you had schnitzel before? Pork in breadcrumbs, really nice with zigeuner sauce.

Zigeuner sauce is peppers and tomato. Really nice. Or if you like shrooms jaeger sauce is also great. Really yummy.

Here is a quickie I had a few days ago. DW make this mushroom sauce that I can have instead of Brown Grrrrrravy.

How did it taste?

Gross. I drink my coffee black. I can drink it however someone fixes it (2 cream and a Sweet n Low is how my mother and siblings take it) though.
I put half a cup of yogurt in the glass with one tablespoon of instant espresso powder. It was fine. Adding Splenda made it gross (so do sugar and Sweet n Low), and the chocolate made it tolerable.
