SHOW OFF YOUR YUM! Food Photography Thread

Some of you have not known me very long. I used to have “Abi‘s Coffee Shop”. It was centered in the Incubating with Friends thread (now called Educational Hatching and Incubating. We posted so much so fast, we broke BYC!), but I made deliveries elsewhere. I literally customized coffee cups according to what I knew of the person. Some people took me days of searching to find the perfect picture before adding their name.
Anyway! I learned something this morning I should have known already.

Okay, I can’t post all of that nonsense without telling you. If anyone uses my knowledge, please know that if I ever do actually open my own coffee shop for real, I might sue you. :D
If you put your coffee mug in the refrigerator the night before, you can get that first cup of coffee down quickly without burning your mouth. This is especially helpful for those of us that cannot function without our first pot.
Should I honestly open my own coffee shop, I will have a collection of mugs stored in the refrigerator.

Lunch on my bed with Netflix (I have no intention of getting up anytime soon, so the extra pizza is in case I’m hungry later)

I’ve never had hummus. I want to try it. I just haven’t.
Bush's makes a packet you can add to their garbanzo beans. Prettty good for a packet, I liked it and I eat hummus pretty regularly. I topped with garlic, olive oil and a little lemon juice with some sambol oelek...so good especially if you let the garlic steep in the olive oil overnight first :drool

I toast pita bread on the electruc skillet and eat the hummus at room temp with it.
