Right. I sometimes have a slow connection. My connection is fibre if I'm on WiFi but it seems to get bunged up with users! I just switch onto mobile data and that seems to speed things up.

The wireless router you are using might be old. The old ones can get overloaded by newer strong routers close to you

Did you turn off the modem and wireless router? That solves a lot of problems.

It is possible that you have too many devices on your network sometimes?

I went and push mowed an acre of tall grass and came back and it is great now. It was the grass interfering.
