My new dog, who has been with us for only a few days, is now in the animal hospital with parvo virus, she went in yesterday looking terrible, but now she is stabilized,thank god, it looks like she will survive, but I just needed to talk about it.

Sorry about your dog Izzy, will you be able to bring her home soon?

It’s awfully cold at seven in the morning, fresh out of the shower. I need a new travel mug so I can at least have coffee while walking in the morning. And a hat by the door. Whew! My hair froze solid!

I am banned from a walmart for not wearing shoes. The manager told me I had to wear them because it's a health department rule. I said I would put on my shoes when he told all the people to take their dirty dogs out of the carts where we put our food. Which is worse, a dirty dog in the shopping cart or my clean feet on the floor? He got mad and turned red and kicked me out

I can think of a lot of worse places to get banned from than Walmart. In fact, they were probably doing you a favor

I understand it’s unsanitary to have dogs or other animals all over the grocery store. Basically because of behavioral issues with the animals. However, I was always more worried about the wild birds in the rafters.
My Walmart allows animals, so I threatened to bring a turkey.

Oh yea, there's birds all over ours too. Nothing like picking up a box of hamburger helper with bird poop on it .I would love to see someone walk thru with a turkey
