I don’t blame you eating till your belly hurt - no pain- no gain :D

Do you think legal or not makes a difference  Thank goodness bison-riding accidents where you live are likely more common, but invole fewer fatalities? :D

I read the results of a UK national survey that stated up to 40% of people under 25 years don’t drink alcohol. That’s well and good, but it didn’t go on to mention the others “things” that they took, in its place

Yes, I do think that legalizing it made a difference. At least in Denver, that's where my parents lived 40+ years. It changed so quickly...people moved there in throngs, housing cost went straight up, traffic got way worse.

The only bison I've seen in WY was up north in Yellowstone National Park back in September. When I lived in KS, there were some near-by ranches where they were being raised so saw them there a lot more.

Thanks for the feedback - very interesting how legalising things can change situations. I never thought for a second how it would result in house price increases and financially chase people out of their places of birth etc. Most certainly food for thought, all that :) It’s amazing how something so seemingly unimportant can have such ramifications (though if one thinks about it - it is )

Interesting to watch...from afar! :gig

DH & I helped my mom get her house on the market in 2015. Weird experience, we had realtors lined up wanting to list it because their inventory was so low. The buyers were way out numbering the sellers. After the bidding war was over, Mom was able to sell her house in just 3 days for a lot more than it was appraised at. Which is great for a seller but not such a great situation for buyers.

Oh well, big cities. Not my favorite places anyway!

Sorry, I meant “interesting” not in a flippant way  since i have never lived in a place where such things have become legal, I have never been exposed to the ramifications. In other contexts i most certainly do, e.g. the wealthy London peeps buying property in our national parks and in doing so destroying communities and villages, thus the very essence of the national parks.

Sharing experiences from across the globe with each other is one of the great things about this site - always something to learn and appreciate :)

I also dislike city living :(

Now see, I explain this customers and they don't get it. People can be be so blind. And dumb...
