We got our first quail eggs. I tried out my egg scissors and then fried the egg. Interesting flavor, fried in butter with a dash of salt and pepper.

They look sooo tiny!

What are egg scissors? Is that what you use to crack open the shell?

Yeah, they're pretty cool. Air cell end goes through the hole and the other side cuts off the top. I guess quail eggs don't crack well. I haven't tried to do that, I wanted to try the scissors

I cooked 3 boiled eggs today and they were suprisingly tasty its a lot like bread bc its way better hot and fresh i havent had it still warm for a long time it beats cold boiled eggs hands down

Made our ravioli and sauce cut slices of bread from home made loaf Son did garlic butter so we had poor mans garlic bread or I did not have time to do french bread today..
admit never have seen or heard of egg scissor before

I like the comparison picture, that really puts things in perspective.

So they tasted different than the chicken eggs?

I like the quail shells, very pretty!

I missed something. How long have you been getting quail eggs? And, how many?

Yes, it's hard to describe the difference, more earthy? I'll have to eat some more to see if I can figure it out

I just found our first eggs yesterday. Super excited, but eating them for now until the ladies been laying a while. Then we'll hatch some
