First I separate the cream from the milk and then I let it ferment at room temperature. By fermenting it I mean I let it sit out and culture.

Fermentation is the chemical breakdown of a substance by bacteria, yeasts, or other microorganisms.

The reason I ferment it is because it better for you and it makes it easier to digest. The cream also turns into butter faster if you ferment it. The cream gets really thick when you ferment it.

Then after its fermented there is a few different ways you can turn it into butter. You can put it in a jar and shake it like crazy, you can mix it in a mixer, you can wisk it by hand, or you can put it in a high speed blender.
Usually I use the blender because it turns it really quickly, but sometimes its so thick that I have to do it by hand because the blender can't even blend it!

It is cream from cows milk so you have nothing to worry about!

So you would eat blue cheese too if it came from cows milk? I've never had it before but it looks like it would taste horrible.
I made fermented butter before. It was very tasty!

Thanks for posting the process
