There's only 3 in my little family, I wonder if adding half a can of corn would be more appropriate for this amount?

I'm a midwest girl at heart, born in Iowa, and I love corn with everything. It's a requirement in all my mexican dishes... taco salads, enchiladas, nachos etc. And my favorite side dish is scalloped corn with bacon.

I don't know why I never thought of putting corn dogs with chili... great idea!!

Do you make cornbread from scratch or boxed mixes? I've used every pre-packaged brand they make and they all turn out dense and flat for me. Then my 2nd grade daughter gave me a "homemade mix" from school as a Christmas gift and it's the best recipe for cornbread muffins I ever had! Finally, I know how to make cornbread now.

I grew up with Jiffy corn muffins/bread. I have done it from scratch, but rarely have cornmeal. I have been using a can of corn the last few times I’ve been out of Jiffy.

I bet! My oldest is gonna be 18 in 6wks.... It just doesn't seem possible. Bittersweet tears of joy.

Everyone I know has a completely different recipe for goulash. I still don't know what it's actually supposed to look like. I wonder if it's one of those meals where almost anything you mix together can be called goulash


Another good idea! Would the extra "creaminess" of creamed corn change the muffin's ability to rise properly?

I think you're right Flappy, ghoulash is one of those meals that is sort of a catch all. Just throw in whatever you've got and call it good.

I don't do cornbread mixes but if you add regular corn it won't change anything other than your bread will taste good, not that it doesn't already. I've added leftover bacon, cans of drained chili's etc. Try different things to see what you like!

Morning there all corndogs but that is as close as I get to corn only study for nutritional is done for pigs eat it comes out as it went in no corn here use corn flour to make cornbread or corndogs
