My STANDARD BREAKFAST,,,

Had this for lunch, Split pea soup with both green and yellow peas. DW made this using a ham-bone. When a ham gets low, but not totally gone, we freeze it for later use. A ham-bone with considerable meat left make this an IDEAL one pot meal

I think it's ceramic, not china. It is intended as a flower pot. I looked on bottom, and see drain plugs, and nothing written, like bone china. It holds a smaller plastic pot inside, that contains that plant. Flower twig we rooted in a shot-glass of water first.
I do like the rich blue color. DD gave it to DW as a gift.
I try to make my pix interesting by using unrelated things to make pix pretty.

Are the little blue & white figurines salt & pepper shakers? Very cute!

Its the work of DW,,
Those lil figurines are salt and pepper shakers, but we just keep them on the counter as decor. The shakers we use are glass that can be seen when needed to be refilled.
