SHOW OFF YOUR YUM! Food Photography Thread

I finally decided to put my cooking interest and recipes online; using my photography skills from 1 semester lived photography school ages ago...

Quite excited. I mainly do Old hisotrical European dishes, leftovers, frugal, no-waste and a lot of soups, stews, "unusual"meets and veggies, and offcourse eggs..I'm drowning in duck eggs :'(

The translation to English and non-metric system is quite a challenge! :O

Next weeks on the list is; Cod head in chinese master sauce, radish-leaf soup, pigtail-soup, naturally coloured deviled eggs, fried chickenfeet, raw herringsoup, and how to eat 4 days with 2 from 1 whole chicken! Can't wait!

I'm pretty pleased with the results thusfar. Of my first 2 dishes. (well; bacon-egg muffins don't really coun't.. but decided to just put them out there anyway; just eveything I make, even if it as unoriginal as ever).

So yesterday we had lunch with potato peel & dill soup (ww2 recipe from grandma) and duckegg and bacon muffins. Could have used a sidedish of some greens..

Thanks! I've been on wellfare due to sudden onset epilepsy and PTSS due to said epilepsy and near-death experiences that came with it since age 27 to 32. Due to a stupid rule over here you get 30% less when you have studied the last year, and over that get 30% less if you are below 29 without child; and before that age without child you can't go to the foodbank/foodassitence/foodcoupons-system.. I had to live atleast a year of 6,28 dollar per month for food! It got me quite savvy (and knowing where the supermarkets throw out their food in this city..and anemia..and loss of teeth due to lack of vitamins..sigh..). And allthough I'm financial in a better place now; I don't think I can ever get rid of "being frugal" and feel bad when I throw away food due to that experience. Hoping to share a lot of frugal/offal/no-waste eating/cheap eating for everyone that might be in a same situation; or just wants to watch their wallet/does not like food to be thrown away :)
