As I have been trying unsuccessfully to reheat pizza for years with mediocre and disheartening success, I have to ask for details re: your skillet procedure. Do you put anything in the skillet (oil or butter, etc)? Looks so yum!

I use a coated skillet, that has a fitted glass see thru cover. I do it on relatively low to medium heat, so I don't burn it... If it is on higher heat,,, the bottom gets done, and the rest of the upper layers are still cold. I do not need any butter or oil on skillet, since the coating is NON - STICK.
You can do it even if you don't have a cover, but the cover makes the top portion heat faster. It creates a mini oven effect.

My friend made me these last year for my Birthday. Devilled eggs..

I suspect you will take out your frustrations on machine that did no JUSTICE to pizza.
