Hard. The crunchier the better.

I’m surprised you don’t just fry your own. Much tastier that way.

Yes! You have to kinda hold them open with a fork while you fry each side, if that makes sense.

I do the same thing with flour tortillas to make tostadas. Man I’m missing all that crunch.

Okay will give it shot .. We have a decent deep fryer use it lay it ofer a wood fork give it a go Gee thanks you make me a better cook

I throw mine in flat in a regular frying pan with oil. Cook them a bit while flat, flip them, then bend in half holding the bottom half down with a folk & holding the top half up with another fork. I let them drain on the paper towels upside down like a tent.

A fryer would be nice. I’ve never worked with one. Anybody have an air fryer? I wonder how that would work?
