See, my town got hit by a major ice storm several years ago. It was so bad, my house lost power for two weeks. My parents had to buy a generator, which was hard to come by, as plenty of other people needed one as well.
The ice and snow was so heavy, that branches broke off of all of our trees and we were afraid that they'd never grow back. My siblings and I were never allowed to go by any of the trees in our yard becaue of the breaking branches.
And that is why all of the trees in my aunts woods look dead or dieing.

Are you in the northern States? There's been news about the snowstorms up there.
We have power cuts all the time. Usually though they're because someone's overloaded the grid.
